THE FURNACE EATERY
COALBROOKDALE, SHROPSHIRE
The project involved reuse of an area of building that historically housed an old railway siding that was located beneath the North Lights Building, forming part of the Ironbridge Gorge Museum.
The proposals included the introduction of a curtain wall system to offer a light weight approach to the enclosure of the space. Osbornes worked with kitchen suppliers, and contractors to deliver a space that relates to the industrial heritage of the site whilst also providing a clean contemporary space that can be enjoyed by visitors to the site.
